What’s Succubus Sisters?

Succubus Sisters is a 2d Action Beat’em up-Metroidvania hybrid game set in a lighthearted high fantasy world, with a focus on combat instead of platforming. Read about it here!

Why are you doing this project?

I’m a Graphic Designer who has always been interested in game development and hand drawn animation, so I started this project to learn more about those things and get more stuff for my portfolio. I have learned much about programming and animation in the past year, and I’m sure I will learn much more before the project is over!

Despite being initially just for portfolio, this project was going forward so smoothly that I decided to try to turn it into a real game.

When will the game come out?

Don’t expect an release date announcement any time soon.

How much will it cost?

It’s way too early to state prices, hopefully not too much.

What Platforms will the game release on?

PC and possibly Mac. I will look into console releases after the game is otherwise ready, no promises.

So you are doing this game by yourself? That’s a lot of work.

Besides sound and music, currently yes. However, I have taken a lot of measures to make sure the game stays small and short, and doesn’t turn into an overblown eternity project.

Why 2D?

I always wanted to try out traditional animation, and have huge respect for games with 2D animation, primarily fighting games.

How far along is the production?

It’s going really well, the first stage is ready and playable from start to finish. It’s only missing cutscenes, music and fine tuning. One down, five more to go!

Can I preorder or support the project?
